Sorry, but I don't think I'll maintain this blog anymore - there will be a new swedish blog up soon, will post a link as soon as it is ready. In the meantime, I have a brand new web-portfolio up at: www.lupomanaro.com.

* THE MIGHT MIGHTY FOX *
Apparently, this blog didn't work in IE up until now - fixed the problem now though. I would recommend using Firefox (not only for this site but the whole net) though - it is faster, safer and has a lot more nice plugins than Explorer. And, it is open source, so anyone can help developing it into even further hights if they feel like it.
Here is a small article on why the browser even consider itself being organic.

* WILDBIRDS & PEACEDRUMS *

This is a proposal for a tour poster for swedish band Wildbirds & Peacedrums. They did like it, but in the end it was decided that it didn't quite go along with the rest of the band's image. A bit sad, it would have been nice to have my art up on the streets all the way over in America, and across Europe as well, but c'est la vie, and I'm happy with they way it turned out anyway.

* SHOOTIN WITH THE TERRORISTS *
Two days ago I did a photo session with my friends in local band We do not negotiate with Terrorists (although their two head members descent from England and America), and here's a few favorites. Also, tonight I tested this nice plug-in for photoshop which simulates real film with grain and all - so of course I had to try it out, turned out kinda good, don't you think?
Digital grain is often horrible and a torture for the eye, but nice warm analogue stuff is something totally different...

* FURTHER ON: BEN PEARCE *
This blog will not only be about showing my own work, but also sharing some of all the fantastic inspiration you can find out there on the net. Ben Pearce runs one of my favorite photostreams over at Flickr. God only knows where he finds all those strange pictures - and I can't help myself from returning over and over again, because you'll never leave without at least one interesting new idea in mind.
I've featured some of the latest pics below, for the full monty click here.

* BEWARE OF MOOSE! *

As far as I know, the tee is only for sale at his concerts, but if it will be available online sometime I'll give a hoot!
* THE BIOGRAPHY *

I draw, paint, shoot photos, do graphic design, make music and write articles - and try to support myself as far as possible with those things.
I'm always interested in new assignments and jobs, please send me a mail to hanna@lupomanaro.com if you're interested in hiring me. I'm a registered company owner in Sweden and in possession of "F-skatt sedel" (tax stuff in Sweden).
Otherwise I'm into good coffee, pointy shoes, watching films, cooking food, tattoos, belgian beer, french culture, the moomins, reading books, owls, single malt whisky, playing wii, and staying awake way too long at night. Plus a bunch of other stuff I've forgot about now.
I play in a band called The Northern Overlook, you can listen to our music here. I also have a new project in the loop, possibly called 'Dope & Glory', hopefully I'll post more about that later.
The internet is my poison, but damn what a god trip it is!
Here's a few other places where you can find me and my work:
Flickr
Deviantart
Myspace
Facebook (please tell who you are if you want to add me though)
Tidningen Kulturen (in swedish, make a search for 'Hanna Eliasson' if you want to read my texts)

* PORTFOLIO: PHOTOGRAPHY *
Here's a collection of my best photographic work (click on the thumbnails for a full view of the pictures) - mostly shot with Nikon D70/D80-cameras, as well with my small but trusty Ricoh GX200. I use various lenses, including 50/1.4, 105/2.5, 28/2.8 and a 55/2.8 macro.
Will update this post (as well as the blog in general) every time a new favorite turns up, so please drop in every now and then.
If you want to see even more, check out my flickr!
