* CYCLOPO *

Thought the cyclops theme would suit this one well... I love working for Koloni, it is Göteborg's best underground club and the people hanging there have become like a second family to me. Plus, Christian always gives me free hands with the posters which is of course an extra plus!

* WONDERLAND *

Snow!
It is beautiful for sure, too bad I always seem to end up with a cold when it comes around...

* ONE ALPACA, TWO ALPACA *

In november last year, I did my very first wall painting at my friend Erik's place. This is how it turned out:

Also, we did this little stop-motion video during the work (have to note that the musical choice is Erik's, not mine...):

* WILDBIRDS & PEACEDRUMS *

This is a proposal for a tour poster for swedish band Wildbirds & Peacedrums. They did like it, but in the end it was decided that it didn't quite go along with the rest of the band's image. A bit sad, it would have been nice to have my art up on the streets all the way over in America, and across Europe as well, but c'est la vie, and I'm happy with they way it turned out anyway.

* EVERYTHING IS EVERYTHING *

Have this in mind for a tattoo, tried to fit in just about everything that is important to me: love, owls, coffee, the sea, Gbg (my hometown), a wolf, a camera, pointy shoes, a bottle of wine. A skull to remember death, and a candle to represent hope.
Will try to get it done during 2009!

* FUNNY BUNNY*

New pic, did this yesterday, some kinda bunny who thinks too much...
Pens, acrylics and a touch of coffee and red wine :)

* SHOOTIN WITH THE TERRORISTS *

Two days ago I did a photo session with my friends in local band We do not negotiate with Terrorists (although their two head members descent from England and America), and here's a few favorites. Also, tonight I tested this nice plug-in for photoshop which simulates real film with grain and all - so of course I had to try it out, turned out kinda good, don't you think?
Digital grain is often horrible and a torture for the eye, but nice warm analogue stuff is something totally different...

* FURTHER ON: BEN PEARCE *

This blog will not only be about showing my own work, but also sharing some of all the fantastic inspiration you can find out there on the net. Ben Pearce runs one of my favorite photostreams over at Flickr. God only knows where he finds all those strange pictures - and I can't help myself from returning over and over again, because you'll never leave without at least one interesting new idea in mind.
I've featured some of the latest pics below, for the full monty click here.

* CRANES ETC *

Aight, feels like I've gotten started now, I've added the essential posts (bio, portfolios etc) as well as links to some nice blogs and homepages of artists, illustrators and photographers that I dig.

Time for the first photo-post then!
Here are some brand new pics from the first month of this year:

* BEWARE OF MOOSE! *

Here's a incredibly stylish photo of me (had to take about 30 of them before I got one where I didn't look mad/fat/asleep/high - or all at once...) sporting the brand new Mattias Hellberg & The White Moose tee which I've made the design for (also did the cover for his latest album and a bunch of other stuff I must post later). The pic may even be used as his official logo in the future, he's still thinking about that, so we'll see.
As far as I know, the tee is only for sale at his concerts, but if it will be available online sometime I'll give a hoot!

* THE BIOGRAPHY *

My name is Hanna, born and bred in Göteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden - still remaining here, it is a fairly good place for underground culture after all.
I draw, paint, shoot photos, do graphic design, make music and write articles - and try to support myself as far as possible with those things.
I'm always interested in new assignments and jobs, please send me a mail to hanna@lupomanaro.com if you're interested in hiring me. I'm a registered company owner in Sweden and in possession of "F-skatt sedel" (tax stuff in Sweden).

Otherwise I'm into good coffee, pointy shoes, watching films, cooking food, tattoos, belgian beer, french culture, the moomins, reading books, owls, single malt whisky, playing wii, and staying awake way too long at night. Plus a bunch of other stuff I've forgot about now.

I play in a band called The Northern Overlook, you can listen to our music here. I also have a new project in the loop, possibly called 'Dope & Glory', hopefully I'll post more about that later.

The internet is my poison, but damn what a god trip it is!
Here's a few other places where you can find me and my work:
Flickr
Deviantart
Myspace
Facebook (please tell who you are if you want to add me though)
Tidningen Kulturen (in swedish, make a search for 'Hanna Eliasson' if you want to read my texts)

* PORTFOLIO: PHOTOGRAPHY *

Here's a collection of my best photographic work (click on the thumbnails for a full view of the pictures) - mostly shot with Nikon D70/D80-cameras, as well with my small but trusty Ricoh GX200. I use various lenses, including 50/1.4, 105/2.5, 28/2.8 and a 55/2.8 macro.
Will update this post (as well as the blog in general) every time a new favorite turns up, so please drop in every now and then.

If you want to see even more, check out my flickr!
